We are BEST Table Tennis Store, a store located in Merelbeke, Belgium.

we are Bjorn, Elie, Stijn and Tim, if you take the first letter of our names, you'll see why we are called BEST :-)

Bjorn is 33 years old and lives in Merelbeke. He's an active tabletennis player in 2nd nationals, ranked B4, and plays in TTC Merelbeke. His career in tabletennis started 20 years ago in this club, that allowed him to grow in his skills. In these 20 years he became 3 times champion with the men's team, a four times winner of the cup of Oost-Vlaanderen and two times runner-up in the cup of Flanders. His playing style is based around a good service and flick backhand.
Bjorn's main occupation is teaching at school in the Gent region. He is also responable for the youth training in TTC Merelbeke. He's also active in the tabletennis comittee of Oost-Vlaanderen and the youth comittee of Oost-Vlaanderen.

Elie is 24 years old and lives in Merelbeke. He’s an active tabletennis player in 3th nationals, ranked C0, and plays in TTC Merelbeke. His career in tabletennis started 12 years ago in this club, and he won two times the cup of Oost-Vlaanderen. His playing style is based on topspins with a lot of rotation, he enjoys to play the game. Elie is following a traineeship at Cargill. 

Stijn is 26 years old and lives in Zottegem. He's an active tabletennis player in 2nd nationals, ranked B4, and plays in TTC Merelbeke. His career in tabletennis started 9 years ago in this club, and he became 4 times champion with the men's team, two times winner of the cup of Oost-Vlaanderen and one time vice champion in the cup of Flanders. His biggest weapons in tabletennis are his hard to read serve, his control over the ball and an unpredictable backhand.
Stijn's main occupation is being a train conductor with the national railroads. He's a trainer and board member of TTC Merelbeke.

Tim is 39 years old and lives in Merelbeke. He's an active tabletennis player in 2nd nationals, ranked B4, and plays in TTC Merelbeke. His career in tabletennis started a long time ago in this club, but he went away to play in some other clubs before he came back to TTC Merelbeke some years ago. Tim was Belgian champion Mixed dubbels D, and runner up Belgian Champion D, has won the cup of Oost-Vlaanderen once and can't count how many times he was runner-up in that same cup. His playing style is based around a simple service and a deadly third ball, no matter if it's forhand or backhand.
Tim's main occupation is being the IT Director at Securex.
